Pelagia Kogouli was born in Thessaloniki where she studied at the School of Philosophy and Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and later at the School of Theology of the same university.\u00a0She has a Master’s degree in School Education from the School of Philosophy and Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2016 she completed her Doctorate in School Pedagogy and in 2019 her post doctorate research on the History of Education. From 2018 to 2021 she was a lecturer on the subject of the\u00a0Teaching Methodology of History for the School of History and Archaeology and\u00a0School of Philosophy, Education & Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has taught at the Hellenic Open University the subject of Pedagogy and Teaching Methodology for a programme of the School of Social Sciences on Pedagogy and Teaching Competence. Since 2018 she has also taught the following at the ASPETE of Thessaloniki: Teaching Methodology, Teaching Methodology of Major Subjects and Practical Teaching Exercises regarding the supervision, evaluation, feedback and support of the teaching process. She lives and works as a Secondary School teacher in Piraeus since 2021. The Teaching of History, Teaching Methodology, Pedagogy in the school environment and the History of Education remain the interests of her research. She has academic distinctions, monographs, publications in international and national conferences proceedings and participations in scientific conventions.<\/p>\n
