										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="about:blank">Aspasia Dania</a> (PhD), is an Assistant Professor in Physical Education Teaching and a Director of the Sport Pedagogy Laboratory at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She lectures at a Doctoral, Master and Undergraduate level in the topics of Pedagogy, Physical Education Teacher Education and Qualitative Research, all with a focus on equity, democracy, diversity, and inclusion. Dr <strong>Dania</strong> is highly experienced in curriculum planning, and model-based instruction and has developed and implemented successfully an extensive record of Programs and Online Learning Modules by using a variety of instructional design tools and approaches (e.g., MOODLE systems. Micro-credential approaches). She is the mentor and facilitator of 200 pre-service and 70 in-service Physical  Education Teachers, as part of the supervision of undergraduate students’ practicum in secondary and high schools. With a focus on human-centered teaching and praxis, Dr. Dania is committed to academic excellence and has coordinated a variety of Blended Intensive Programs within the <a href="about:blank">CIVIS</a> University Alliance, under the framework of Innovative Pedagogies. She is the (co)author of 7 books, 45 peer reviewed articles and 18 book chapters and has presented more than 80 research papers at national and international conferences. She has also participated in more than 10 research projects related to Teacher Education and currently she is the chair elect of the <a href="about:blank">Teaching Games for Understanding</a> and the leader of the <a href="about:blank">Social Pedagogy in Physical Education</a> Special Interest Groups (SIGs). She has extensive experience in Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis and supervises 5 master and 7 PhD dissertations in the fields of Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy.</p>
<p>Her research interests focus on: (1) Physical Education Teacher Education; (2) Initial, induction and continuous professional development of teachers; (3) Use of qualitative and post-qualitative methods in education; (4) Game and Play-Based approaches in education; (5) Social and Emotional learning of children and youth; (6) Social Pedagogy with a focus on Social Justice; (7) Transdisciplinary/Interdisciplinary Instruction and Curriculum Development.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Dr. Vassiliki Pliogou </strong>is an Associate Professor at the Department of Early Childhood Education, in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Western Macedonia (UoWM), Greece, on the subject of Pedagogy and Applications in Education. She is the Director of the Laboratory of the Pedagogical Studies and Innovative Educational Practices. She is also the ERASMUS Departmental</p>
<p>Coordinator, the Departmental Placement Coordinator and the Deputy President of the Scientific Supervisory Board of the Pilot and Experimental Schools (EPS) in Kastoria. She is the Departmental Representative in the Children’s Identity &amp; Citizenship European Association (CiCEA) and the Departmental Representative in the European Network Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe. She is a member of the Centre for Teaching and Learning Support of the UoWM and the Committee of the Studies for the Pedagogical and Didactic Competence, too. She is the Deputy President of the Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Committee of the UoWM.</p>
<p>She received her BA in Pedagogy at the University of Patras. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ghent in Belgium, with a scholarship from the Hellenic State Scholarships Foundation, in <em>&#8220;Children&#8217;s Rights&#8221; </em>(1995). She has two Masters of Sciences, the first one on the subject of &#8220;<em>Comparative Education and Human Rights</em>&#8221; from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Institute of Education of the University of London and the second in &#8220;<em>Bilingual Special Education</em>&#8221; from the University of Western Macedonia. She received her PhD in <em>Science Education </em>from the Department of Primary Education in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2008).</p>
<p>She had been for many years (1997 to present) academic staff and a member on research programs at the Democritus University of Thrace, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Ioannina, while she has a continuous cooperation with the Hellenic Open University, the University of Athens, the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPETE) in Thessaloniki and the Frederick University of Cyprus. From 2012 till now, she is an independent expert and a member of the teaching staff of the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA) regarding gender issues. She is a reviewer in 15 Greek and International Journals. She has more than 140 presentations in Greek and International conferences and relative publications in collective volumes, Greek and International Journals and proceedings, which focus on human rights education, childhood and children’s rights, citizenship, family-school connection, gender and educational implementations using different pedagogical tools in various formal and non-formal educational environments. From 1998 till now, she has organised or co-organised events, such as conferences, seminars, educational activities which have been mainly addressed to students at the Department of Early Childhood and Primary Education, educators, preschool and primary school children and their families. Since 2011, she is the president of OMEP (World Organization for Early Childhood Education) in Central Macedonia. She has been awarded the first prize of the International Committee of OMEP for 2016 in Education for Sustainable Development under the UNESCO Global Action Programme, at the University of Ewha Womans in Seoul (S. Korea).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stavros Yangazoglou graduated from the Faculty of Theology of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. He studied ecumenical theology at the Institut œcuménique de Bossey, medieval philosophy and theology at Fribourg in Switzerland. In 2017 he was elected assistant professor of dogmatics within the Department of Theology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while in March 2022 he was elected Associate Professor of the same Department. His research has focused on the theology of Gregory Palamas, dogmatics, ecclesiology, systematic theology, theology of culture, religious education in public schools as well as on contemporary Orthodox thinkers (N. Berdiaev, G. Florovsky, V. Lossky, P. Evdokimov, N. Nissiotis, J. Zizioulas).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anastasia Gkaintartzi holds a PhD from the School of Early Childhood Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in bi/multilingualism and education in the fields of Sociolinguistics and Educational Linguistics. She holds a Master&#8217;s Degree in &#8220;Contemporary learning environments and development of teaching material&#8221; from the University of Thessaly. She has graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature of the Aristotle University. Currently, she is an associate lecturer in English for multicultural academic contexts. She has significant prior experience in open and distance education and in the supervision of dissertations as a member of the teaching staff in Postgraduate Programs of the Hellenic Open University. She has taught at the Foreign Language Centre of the University of Thessaly. She has significant experience in adult education and teacher training. Indicatively, she has participated for several years in the training programme Teach4Integration addressed to teachers involved in the education of refugees and migrants. She has worked in the field of intercultural mediation developing educational-training material for the Educational (professional development) Programme of training Intercultural Mediators. She has more than 12 years of scientific and research experience participating in national and international research projects such as: Project &#8220;Education of foreign and repatriate students&#8221;, UNICEF Teach4Integration, ELIDEK &#8220;Languages ​​for Human Values&#8221;, Horizon 2020 &#8216;ISOTIS Inclusive Education and Social Support to Tackle Inequalities in Society&#8217;, and Erasmus KA220 &#8216;(PEP) Promoting Plurilingual Education&#8217;, as a coordinator for the University of Thessaly. Her research interests focus on issues of bilingualism/multilingualism and education, identities in multicultural contexts, pluralistic approaches to education, linguistic and social integration of immigrants, language ideology and attitudes, inclusion and linguistic and cultural diversity in education. She has published widely in these research fields.  She collaborates with the ECML as a national expert.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Joint MA Program &#8220;Identity, Education and Competences for Democratic Culture&#8221; by the Department of Theology (expedient), the Department of Educational Studies and the Department of Philology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the European Wergeland Center (Council of Europe and Norway) issues the call of applications for the academic year 2025-2026.</p>
