The Master Program “Identity, Education and Competences for Democratic Culture” is the first MA Program marking an international collaboration between 3 Faculties of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the European Wergeland Centre of the Council of Europe.

The Master Program “Identity, Education and Competences for Democratic Culture” derives from the Program STEP UP-DC funded by Erasmus + and the State Scholarships Foundation (ΙΚΥ).

The Master Program “Identity, Education and Competences for Democratic Culture” is the first MA Program marking an international collaboration between 3 Faculties of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens providing expertise on Competences for Democratic Culture and insights on their implementation in Education.

The aim of the MSc is the dissemination of democracy in all educational levels and processes through the training of teachers of all specialties (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Education) in the skills of Democratic Culture. For this reason, three specializations and a distinct Greek and English-language.
