Optional Internship & Summer School
The MA Program “Identity, Education and Competences for Democratic Culture” offers postgraduate students the opportunity to participate in an optional Summer School – Internship, combining academic learning, field experience, and professional development.
- Total Duration: 3 weeks (July)
- Weeks 1–2: Internship placement in selected institutions and organizations (NGOs, schools, educational or social organizations).
- Week 3: Writing workshops, mentoring, and experiential sessions connecting theory with practice.
Activities and Benefits
- Complete a two-week internship aligned with their research or professional interests.
- Receive personalized guidance on their master’s thesis or academic writing.
- Attend three educational visits to institutions of democracy, dialogue, and culture.
- Take part in research and writing workshops led by experts.

Accreditation and Cost
- The Summer School counts as an optional internship and is accredited in the Diploma Annex, adding 15 ECTS to the 75 ECTS of the MA Curriculum.
- Participation Fee: €3,500 (including accommodation, visits, transportation, workshops, and events).
