Application Procedure
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Candidates may submit their application to participate in the Master Program “Identity, Education and Competences for Democratic Culture” from October 1st, 2024 to May 15th, 2025 for the academic year 2025-2026. The academic semester will start on September 2025.
Graduates that hold a degree from University Schools/Faculties in the field of Education, formal and non-formal, and in fields of the Curriculum taught in any Educational Level and from relevant domestic Departments or Departments of officially recognized equivalent foreign Institutions, as well as graduates that hold degrees from Technological Education Institutes (=Τ.Ε.Ι) in relevant fields, are eligible for admission in this M.A. Programme.
The maximum number of admissions in this M.A. Programme, taught online and offered in two languages (English and Greek), is set at 100 (one hundred) per specialization, therefore 300 (three hundred) in total.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
- CV
- Double-sided photocopy of the applicant’s I.D. or Passport
- Copy of First Cycle Degree Certificate or a Certificate of Completion of studies
- Analytical transcript of the grades in the undergraduate courses
- English language Certification (Level Β2 at least)
- 1 Reference Letter
- Scientific publications (if any)
- Certification of professional or research experience (if any)
- Greek language Certification or adequate, verified by the Selection of Admissions Committee, knowledge of the Greek language, for foreign candidates wishing to participate in the Greek speaking M.A. Programme.
- A certificate confirming equivalence to Greek Degrees for those who have degrees from foreign universities. For graduates of foreign Institutions that do not submit a certificate confirming equivalence to Greek Titles by the National Academic Recognition Information Center (NARIC/D.O.A.T.A.P) a special Committee is formed to verify the equivalence.
Candidates choose one of the three (3) specializations in their application, as well as the language of the Program they wish to attend. The Coordinating Committee examines the candidates’ portfolios and compiles the list of successful candidates of the three specializations both in the Greek and the English MA Program.
SPECIALIZED COMMITTEE
For graduates of foreign Institutions that do not submit a certificate confirming equivalence to Greek Titles by the National Academic Recognition Information Center (NARIC/D.O.A.T.A.P) a special Committee is formed to verify the recognition of a foreign Institute or a certain type of degree.
