Grizioti Marianthi
Associate Professor, Deaprtment of Educational Studies
Dr. Marianthi Grizioti is an Assistant Professor of Computational Thinking and Digital Skills in Secondary Education in the Department of Secondary Education, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She has extensive research and teaching experience in the fields of New Literacies, Computational Thinking, and learning based on digital games. She has worked as a senior and junior researcher on major European and national research projects (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, etc.) and has developed innovative open-source educational software.
She has carried out the initial development and expansion of well-known online educational software:
- ChoiCo & ChoiCo-AR: Simulation game design software (including Augmented Reality).
- MaLT2 (TurtleSphere): Programming and dynamic manipulation of 3D geometric models.
- SorBET & SorBET-AR: A classification game platform with kinesthetic manipulation capabilities.
- “Photodentro” Repository: Development of dozens of digital learning objects linked to official mathematics textbooks
